Dive into the library’s recycling bin with puppetry artist Linda Wingerter of the Stringpullers Puppet Company!  Puppets can be made from anything, and we’ll explore how to create a one-of-a-kind owl puppet with everyday materials.  Tools and materials will be provided; just bring your curiosity and creativity!  Recommended for kids aged 6-12, who will be taking home their creations.

While at the library, enjoy Linda Wingerter’s spectacular puppetry exhibit. All kids will also receive a free, exclusive 2017 Children’s Book Week “Every Child a Reader” bookmark created by four of today’s most innovative children’s book illustrators.
