A Memorial Concert for Hagaman Memorial Library’s beloved benefactor, Mrs. Eileen DeMayo: Performed by Connecticut Virtuosi String Quartet and Voice Ensemble on Saturday, October 9 at 2:00 p.m.

The Connecticut Virtuosi String Quartet and Voice Ensemble will perform a Memorial Concert for East Haven Hagaman Memorial Library’s beloved benefactor, Mrs. Eileen DeMayo on Saturday, October 9 at 2:00 p.m. The concert will also be streamed live on the library’s Facebook page: www.facebook.com/isaac.hagaman

Mrs. Eileen DeMayo (October 30, 1926- November 26, 2019) served on the Hagaman Memorial Library’s Board of Trustees from 1970 until 2014 when she was honored as Board of Trustees Chairperson Emeritus. In 2012, she and her husband, the Honorable Judge Anthony V. DeMayo, donated a generous amount to finish the construction of an accessible conference room at the library. William S. “Bill” DeMayo, Jr., Judge Anthony DeMayo‘s brother, donated a generous sum at the same time. The room was completed in 2012 and is dedicated to the DeMayo family.  Over the years, Mrs. DeMayo also donated funding to the library for musical concerts and has many favorite types of music. Some of her favorites will be played at the concert on October 9.

Extra parking for evening and weekend library events is available in the East Haven Town Hall parking lot on 250 Main Street (across the street from the library), in the KeyBank parking lot next to the library (after 12:00 p.m. on Saturdays and after 5:00 p.m. on weekdays) and in the Stop and Shop lot behind the library, accessible from Messina Drive.
