Ch-Ch-Changes: Climate Today and in Earth’s Past Presented by Tom Reershemius of the Peabody Museum Speakers Bureau Wednesday, January 27 at 7:00 p.m. on Webex

Tom Reershemius, Member of the Peabody Museum Speakers Bureau will present Ch-Ch-Changes: Climate Today and in Earth’s Past.

“Climate change isn’t a problem because the climate’s always changed.” It’s a common phrase to hear in arguments about human-caused climate change – but is it justified? We will delve into the record of climate through Earth’s history to find evidence for past changes, and ask what – if anything – is different this time.

This program is made possible by the Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History and the Peabody Museum Speakers Bureau.

This presentation will be held virtually on Webex (very similar to Zoom). To register to attend, please contact Cynthia, Community Services Librarian, at cgwiazda@hagamanlibrary.org. You will then be sent a Webex invitation link to join the program.
