Film Night: “Oppenheimer” (2023) (R) starring Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, & Matt Damon – Thursday, March 28 at 4:00 p.m. (Intermission at 6:00 p.m. for pizza- 6:30 p.m. resume film)

Enjoy a night out and pizza and drinks!  Visit the library on Thursday, March 28 at 4:00 p.m. for a showing of the film Oppenheimer (2023) (R) starring Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt and Matt Damon. The film begins at 4:00 p.m. Pizza and drinks will be served during a 30-minute intermission at 6:00 p.m. (The start time for this month’s film night is earlier due to the length of the film.)

J. Robert Oppenheimer played an integral role in developing the first atomic bomb. Throughout the development of the bomb, Oppenheimer struggled with justifying a creation that came to cause so much damage. He questions whether he owes it to scientific discovery to create something capable of so much power.

This film showing is free and open to everyone. PLEASE NOTE: This film is rated R.
